When I sent the email out to my friends two of them took the survey as well as viewed our video. I think this is a very productive wasy of getting our message out. As long as whomever is delivering the message has some form of knowledge about our cause. So all in all yes this is a good way to get our message out becasue I am more likely to listen to a friend or an associate rather than a total stranger telling me to go to a link.

My Pumas

I recently just went to finish line and purchased these pink, black and white pumas that have stars on them (see picture below). Five things I think of when I see these shoes are; trendy or stylish, creativity, girlie, cat and hot as in hot pink. I like pumas clothing as well as their shoes because they are comfortable and stylish and somewhat affordable. The top ten things brandtags.net have listed on their site are; shoes, sneakers, cool, sport, soccer, cat, fast, trendy, retro, sporty. My perception was somewhat the same, while I did put that they were trendy and I saw a cat in the shoes, others did not put that they were girlie and hot pink because they were addressing the label and not just a specific shoe. Again I think that my opinion differs because we are not all unique and while I may think that puma shoes are girlie and stylish others think that they are sporty.

1) This dorito ad aired on last years superbowl. I love this ad becasue it was ridioculously hilarious as well as entertaining.
2) It caught my eye because someone was getting hurt.
3) Can't even lie, when I was watching the ad I was actually eating the chips so did it make me want to buy them, no not really I would have purchased them either way.
4)Yes this ad is effective, I think so becasue most Americans and people in general respond to comedy and violence and this ad has both of thos two aspects.

Goals For this semester

This semester I really do hope to get all A's. Every semester I tend to fall short of this goal by getting one B or two B's. This is my first semester back at SIU after having my daughter and I am just hoping to do well while still being a good mother and student.
